Enrichment Learning

Enrichment learning of the curriculum helps students and pupils to experience activities beyond the main study of the curriculum within school or college etc. The focus of this is to provide external experiences to gain new skills, utilise hands-on activities and improve motivation and mental health.

Enrichment learning programmes can differ in many external environments and outdoor learning workplaces. These programmes and activities are designed to enhance a student or pupils’ personal achievements in their life.

One area that has been identified as an external positive learning enrichment experience is on a school or educational trip for all age groups from primary school through to college. University and youth groups. These enrichment learning objectives can be achieved through activities in an indoor environment such as an historical indoor Museum or science centre to an outdoor activity centre or a residential activity centre or expedition experience the sky’s the limited.
