The Science Museum Group Academy launches its CPD training courses for the next academic year 2023/24

The Science Museum Group Academy has launched its training courses for the next academic year to teachers, community group leaders and other professionals working in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) fields.

The Academy’s training courses aim to provide educators with practical and creative ideas to engage adults and young people in STEM.

The training courses are delivered by the Academy’s expert trainers online and in-person across all Science Museum Group sites in London, Manchester, York, Bradford and Shildon. For UK teachers, the courses are free thanks to funding from Science Museum Group Academy partners.

The following Academy training courses are now available for teachers, STEM professionals and community group leaders to book online: 

• Creating Engaging Learning Experiences
• Exploration and Discovery Clubs
• Exploring Science Through Play– NEW for 2023
• Discussion in the Classroom
• Public Engagement
• Science Engagement
