Cathedrals. Abbeys. Churches

Visits to religious sites such as cathedrals, churches and abbeys taken as a school trip, can provide pupils with invaluable insights into history, worship, belief and the role religion plays in our society today. Wandering around these beautiful buildings, youngsters and adults will marvel at the often grand and intricate architecture and features, the wonderfully colored stained glass and the woven tapestries and the stories that lie within them, and understand how integral music is to worshipping or offer them something of a higher form. Educational visits to a cathedrals church or abbey could also encompass elements of History and Religious Education as core subjects. Pupils of all Key stages will benefit from an organized group visit; please see our many listed sites to book yours today.
