What we offer on a school trip
Regular customers include primary schools on activity holidays, secondary schools studying sciences and geography, and Colleges and Universities studying Biology, Geology and Sports Science. We are also used as a study retreat in the winter for A Level students.
Our purpose-built, comfortable 3-star bunkhouse style accommodation sleeps 42 people in 9 bedrooms several of which are en-suite. School and youth groups have access to exclusive use of the accommodation.
The accommodation is available on a catered and self-catered basis. Our healthy and hearty meals are all freshly prepared on the premises and all dietary requirements are catered for. We provide packed lunches for groups that are active through the day.
The large common rooms can double as classrooms or even laboratories for science groups. There are also break-out rooms available for smaller groups. Internet facilities can be made available to groups.
The Centre has 7-acres of grounds providing scope for games and team-building activities.
We have established links with local AALA licensed outdoor activities providers and activities such as kayaking, climbing, coasteering and orienteering are all run within walking distance of the Centre.
The main beach in Rhoscolyn, Borthwen, is 5 minutes walk from the centre. It is a sheltered bay with a golden sand crescent beach and is safe for swimming and ideal for beach games and rock-pooling.
