What is typically included on our school trips
Our mission is to connect our guests with the natural world and our Learning & Discovery team does just that! Whether you're a teacher looking for inspiration for your class or the parent of an animal lover, our team has something designed for your needs.
We offer a range of educational activities for schools including workshops and guided tours that help to bring the curriculum to life for both teachers and pupils alike.
GUIDED SAFARI COACH TOUR
Get the most out of your Safari Drive with your very own guide. This is included in all of our school packages. Find out amazing facts, information and stories about our animals as you travel around our 5-mile reserve. Our tours are fun, interactive and suitable for all age groups.
DISCOVERY WORKSHOP
Taking place either in one of our safari classrooms or out and about in our foot safari, we have a range of topics, all linked to the national curriculum. Read more about wat workshops you can choose from below.
GUIDED BABOON BUS TOUR
No coach? No problem! Your class will be able to explore our hilarious baboons up close on one of our specially kitted out baboon buses. Your very own tour guide will drive you around the 5 mile safari drive, including through the baboon enclosure! You can always include a discovery workshop to get the most out of your day.
ASPIRATIONS DAY
Through a series of workshops, exciting games and guided tours, we'll inspire your key stage 2 class to consider different zoo-based jobs available.
CHAMPIONS OF CHANGE
Champions of change is a full day school trip to Knowsley Safari designed to grow participants confidence and communication skills. We will give them the tools to empower others about conservation issues and cover ways we can all help our planet.
LIVE STREAM SAFARI SCHOOL
More than just a 'virtual zoo tour'. With Live Stream Safari School we broadcast our amazing safari education sessions LIVE to your classroom! Our aim: to help those pupils and schools unable to physically visit the Safari to continue to learn and engage with nature and wildlife, benefitting wellbeing.
