What makes us a great choice for education

We offer post visit invoicing. This means if you need to change your numbers, you can do so without getting charged.

Once your trip is confirmed, we offer a free teacher planning visit for two teachers per booking. This allows you to see the museum but you will also be met by one of our education team members who can answer any questions and provide an in-person run through of your visit.

What is typically included on our school trips

We have two pricing options for school and educational groups:

1. Exhibition only – a self-led visit through the exhibition and a visit to the heritage Track Trail. Total visit time approx. 2.5 hrs. £7.95 per pupil

2. Exhibition + STEM Workshop – In addition to the main exhibition and visit to the Heritage Track Trail, enjoy a 45 minute workshop lef by one of our facilitators in our dedicated learning studio. Total visit time approx.. 4 hours. £9.50 per pupil

Materials, Resources & Information Provided

We provide all the resources you need to make the most of your visit.There are a variety of resources online for teachers and group leaders to view and print. These will include pre-visit materials to help you introduce the visit to the children, post-visit materials that will contain opportunities for follow-up work in the classroom and some guidance to help you navigate through the most fun and educational elements of the exhibition.

Groups who make a day of it and book a workshop are also provided with all of the materials needed for their curriculum focused workshop.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

You can take photos etc. in permitted areas.
