Escape the classroom and treat your students to a WILD school trip at Chessington World of Adventures Resort!
Experience over 40 rides and attractions, with something for all ages! From thrilling rides rollercoasters to walk through attractions, and a carousel, your class can be guaranteed a PAWSOME day at Britain's Wildest Adventure.
Come face to face with over 1,000 incredible animals in our Zoo & SEA LIFE Centre. From our majestic Amur tigers, flippin' fabulous Humboldt penguins to our busy Leafcutter ants, there's loads to see and lots to learn.
At Chessington World of Adventures Resort we offer bespoke curriculum-based workshops. Our workshops are perfect for teachers and students to experience a fun, hands-on and engaging session hosted by our trained educational staff.

JOURNEY ON YOUR FIRST WILD RIDE
Trek into the Wild Woods and fly like a bat on Vampire, then venture to the mythical Land of the Dragons and soar like a winged beast on Dragon’s Fury. Travel to Wild Asia where you can slither like a snake on Kobra, or swing like a monkey on Monkey Swinger. In the Forbidden Kingdom delve into Pharaoh’s tomb and face spiders and skeletons in your quest on Tomb Blaster.
ENCOUNTERING ENDANGERED ANIMALS AT CHESSINGTON
Come face-to-face with over 1,000 Majestic animals, including Lions, Tigers, Gorillas, Monkeys, Penguins and Sealions. Then head on ZUFARI, a wild safari expedition, to roam with rhino’s and gallop with giraffe’s.
DIVE UNDER THE SEA
Take your class on an underwater adventure and learn about our interactive rock pools, get involved in daily talks as well as staring wide-eyed at a breath-taking walkthrough ocean tunnel. Inspirational for all key stages, our SEA LIFE centre is sure to encapsulate and excite your student’s imagination as they learn about aquatic ecosystems and marine conservation.
BRITAINS WILDEST CLASSROOM
With over a dozen workshops for you to choose from, find out which one is right for your class. Take your students on their wildest lesson yet as you learn all about some of our resident animals here at Chessington including, Rothschild's giraffes and Grevy's zebras. Or partake in an exhilarating journey through the forces found in our rollercoasters and behind the scenes of our exciting business. Whatever the subject, we have it covered.
GO APE
Located next to Chessington’s explorer glamping site, you can bring your students for an outdoor team building experience like no other! Step out of the classroom and watch their confidence grow as they zip, swing and jump through the tree-tops and complete teamwork challenges with their peers. Workshops can hold 15-30 students per session, but School Access to the Resort has no capacity limit!
Materials, Resources & Information Provided
We have plenty of activity sheets on our website, available to get your students excited for your WILD school trip and even fill out during their visit. From riddles to wordsearches, there is fun for everyone!
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
Students and Teachers can take unlimited photos and videos which we encourage for them to share on the Chessington World of Adventures Resort Social Pages using #chessingtonworldofadventures.
Risk Assessment Details
We provide Risk Assessments for the Resort. For teachers wishing to come into the resort, they can take advantage of 2 Free Teacher Tickets once payment of their booking has been processed.
Risk assessments are conducted regularly and policies are reviewed annually to ensure that the Resort remains as accessible as possible to all guests with disabilities, including wheelchair users, taking into account feedback from our guests, independent accessibility experts and a range of disability organisations

Clothing Requirements
We do not have a clothing policy, but we do prefer if students were in school uniform or some form of identifiable clothing such as high vis jackets or baseball caps.
First Aid Information
The First Aid Centre is run by qualified staff and is located behind Croc Drop. Our team are on hand to deal with first aid, lost persons and lost property
Available Facilities
We have plenty of toilet facilities, changing areas, food outlets across the park, and many opportunities to purchase a souvenirs from our Theme Park retail stores. More information is available through our map which is available online and through our handy mobile app here.
