Citizenship

Citizenship education is about enabling children to make their own decisions and to take responsibility for their own lives in the community around them. Pupils study this at secondary school but how better to experience this subject than first hand in the community around you or even better on a school trip to grasp, gauge and learn political, legal and economic functions of adult society, and with the social and moral awareness to thrive in it and gain skills such as communication, initiative, social interaction and teamwork.
