What is typically included on our school trips

A self-guided tour around Hastings Castle along with an onsite 20-minute video film on the history of Hastings Castle and its often turbulent and violent past, along with entry into the whispering dungeons.

Group Sizes Catered For

We accept groups from 15 people, up to 120.

Materials, Resources & Information Provided

There is an activity packet aimed at young children up to KS2 to make the day more interactive and captivating for them.

Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions

Groups are permitted to take photos and videos for their own use.

Risk Assessment Details

Pricing Information

Group rates (15+ paying people) as of 22/23.  We will honour this price until the new rates are implemented in November.

• Free Teacher / Group Leader familiarisation visit
• Free Teacher places based on the following ratios:
  • 1:4 Nursery Groups
  • 1:6 Primary Education
  • 1:10 Secondary Education

£5.50 per paying group member

£9.35 per person for combined ticket to Smugglers Adventure & Hastings Castle

£15.20 per person for combined ticket to Smugglers Adventure, Hastings Castle & Hastings Aquarium

There is a first aid box on site with a first aider based 5 minutes away at Smugglers Adventure.

Toilets on site for customers

Drinks are available to purchase from the admission hut.

Please note that Hastings Castle only accepts card payments.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities

Hastings Castle has a disabled toilet facility.

The attraction is based outside on gravel and grass, so it is up to the discretion of the group leader if it will be suitable for any guests with mobility issues.
