What we offer on a school trip
Here at The Escapologist, we take the Everyday to the Extraordinary, where curiosity discovers what ordinary never knew. The Escapologist escape room’s deliver an interdisciplinary approach to STEM, the absolute package for learning while enjoying the immersive themes of our experience’s. We bring something new, fun and is proven to improve the classroom environment. The Escapologist helps to build on many different key parts, from strengthening social skills, improved communication whilst working together in a team towards a shared outcome, all encompassed in a unique and sensory engaging backdrop.
The Escapologist are not only passionate about their customer engagement but are proudly certificated as leaders of the Health & Safety in the Escape Room industry. Maintained by regular internal and external audits for safety standards, with risk assessments being available upon request for each relevant escape room. Primary Authority from Wakefield District Council ensures that The Escapologist maintain exemplary H&S, Fire Safety and Safeguarding policies and procedures to deliver complete peace of mind while schools and colleges enjoy escaping the everyday.
You might have to save the day and save the professor before midnight in The School Of Wizardry, your adventure might take you down the rabbit hole to that mad hatters tea party but be quick as the queens hearts are missing will you find them? What makes us a great choice for education
The Escapologist is the unique way to escape to the extraordinary. Join us for our one of a kind escape rooms, heavily immersive and high in Laugh out load moments, sure to make true memory’s. finish off after your escape to evaluate your Result, solutions, and discussion at our steam punk theme bar full of Soft Drinks, Magical Smoking Mocktails and Hot beverages. Something for everyone.

We currently have our Primay Authority Cetficate for our escape rooms and bars.
What is typically included on our school trips
We can arrange experiences for small groups of 6 students up to large groups even rotating each hour to accommodate more, with a chance for larger groups to join and play every hour, depending on times and length of stay will depend on the amount of students able to fit into the site at each time.
All groups over 10 students will receive:
- Workshop space/ space to evaluate and prepare for your escape
- Drinks packages
- Up to 1 hour escape room
- Dedicated event manager and games master to organize your day and Escape rooms
- Clues, hints and tips during your escape (if needed)
*all Students who’s booking runs into Dinner time will be able to bring there own packed lunch and have an area to eat this*
Group Sizes Catered For
We can cater for groups sizes of 6 +, each room will have its own maximum amount of players allowed at each time, for larger groups this will mean groups may have to be split into smaller groups E.G groups of 5 or 6 players. However we will be able to make sure all groups play at the same time for each escape rooms.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
No Pictures are allowed to be taken inside our escape rooms by teachers, however final finishing pictures with props, speech boards and in the bar area are allowed, preferable staff to take these and be able to use these on our social media.
Pricing Information
The Escapologist have a School Trips Price of
£12.50 Per Child,
This will include:
- 1 hour escape room,
- Dedicated space for before or after your escape,
- Children 13 and under do require a parent or guardian to be present in the room and pay. Please note this is one chaperone per room.
Price for Parents, guardians is £13.00
Clothing Requirements
We would advise you wear comfortable clothing as activity’s such as crawling may be needed, please wear flat shoes.
Available Facilities
All our sites are situated within a center each center has its own bunch of shops, Cafes, Restaurants, toilets facilities and we also provide a bar and inside area where packed lunched can be enjoyed.
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
All of our sites are accessible via wheelchairs, however not every escape room is suitable for wheelchair users due to crawling spaces and smaller door entrances.
Our sites have quiet Tuesdays where the whole center is quieter to help with people who suffer with sensory or learning disabilities.

We are open Monday – Sunday 10am- 9PM
Please note the opening hours can change for School, corporate or team building events.

Terms and Conditions.
Our Terms and conditions are that children 13 and under require an adult to be always present in our escape rooms. Children 15 and under require and adult on site with them. Any promotional codes cannot be used alongside any other offers. Pre booking is advised. Refund and Cancelations are not accepted unless due to extreme circumstances we advise for whatever reason you cannot make your booking you give us a call and we will rebook you in this will encounter an admin changing fee. we challenge 25. No smoking or vaping on sites. Photographs made be taken and used on our website, social media and can be sent via email to yourself. We advise that we accept no liability for any lost or damage.
